The sultry passion of skintillating Italian-born temptress Valeria Golino has melted hearts on two continents from the early 1980’s to today. A teen fashion model, Valeria began in Italian cinema, immediately going full frontal in Piccoli Fuochi (1985). Italian filmgoers kept pleasing their piccolos to closeups of Valeria’s bush in Storia D’amore (1986) and a few other Italian flicks that were quite cavalier with their nudity. Valeria was introduced to American audiences when she played Pee Wee Herman‘s love interest in Big Top Pee-Wee (1988). But the greatest number of people were dying to see her take her big top off and play with some pee pee when she starred as Tom Cruise‘s impossibly sweet and hot girlfriend in Rain Man (1988). Her ass in Levi’s was enough to have you misty eyed while a quick shot of her getting out of of the shower had American audiences enamored. One minute to boner! As she sparingly flashed nipple for Tom, it was easy to conclude that the fleeting peek was the last we would see of bold brunette Valeria’s classic Italian lovelies. It feels so good to be wrong! Two years later, not only were the breasts given the lingering treatment in The King’s Whore (1990), but the curvaceous bounty of the Golino booty was framed in a tremendous open-crack shot that revealed the musky mystery of the third option! That’s an eye winking out at you. A brown one. Valeria stuck around the USA, playing roles in Hot Shots! (1991) and cocking a guy’s Colt in Year of the Gun (1991). Valeria again showed her ruby colored rubatos in the Beethoven biopic Immortal Beloved (1994) and gave Matthew Lillard a glimpse of her full orchestra in Spanish Judges (1999). Valeria largely abandoned the American movie scene, taking roles in Italian movies like Texas (2005) and A Cosa Nostra (2006) before showing everything once again in the French revenge flick Il Sole Nero AKA Black Sun (2007) as she washes herself in a bathtub. This was the last real skin scene of Valeria’s career, with only a bit of butt crack attack in Giulia Doesn’t Date at Night (2009). While still acting in movies like Portrait of a Lady on Fire (2020), these days Valeria directs films and is both a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and a sometimes jury member at the Cannes Film Festival. We don’t need a jury to decide Valeria is on one inviting Italian who’s welcome to return to American movies whenever she wants.
